Rain-Alert was inspired and developed to meet the needs of our roofing industry clients who needed notification of incoming rain showers or intense thunderstorms moving into their worksite.

This highly beneficial tool can be customized and applied to many outdoor-based industries that need to stay ahead of the weather. This service utilizes NEXRAD (Next-Generation Radar) base reflectivity data from a network of 158 high-resolution Doppler weather radars operated by the National Weather Service (NWS) to find intense areas of rain and thunderstorms and then projects the speed and direction to alert our clients who may be in the path up to 60 minutes before the rain arrives. We have formatted the alerts to be short and sweet, however, we will continue to tweak the algorithms and message text in order to better serve our end users.
